Science are a band with epic rock anthems that torch the air and similarly set ablaze the hair ends on the back of your neck. They emit waves of grandiose, playing out their souls to you onstage yet at the same time are revealingly organic. That is the chemistry that they hold, a fusion of what is both consuming and modest. They manage to sweep you off your feet with something powerful but oh so level with your heartbeat as the songs rise between ballads and full-blown sonic dementia, guitar solos included.
You find yourself captivated by the noise of deserving Bond-anthems-to-be and festival-worthy gems. Lulled in by the serene vocals of Rebecca Johns on guitar and immersed in the bubbling sway of melancholic lyricism that is testimony alone to her song writing skills.
So light up your Bunsen and feel the burn of a band that’ll in return light up your hearts.
