Where Lust & Glamour collide with rock'n'roll.
Kinki is one of London' most playful clubs. The Millenium Bar in Covent Garden is the location for this frenzied frollock of a party, where the people are ever so pretty and the music all too magnificent. Check out their pretty website for their monthly theme, invitations and galleries of pretty parties past.

Luring disco dollies to a life of vice, that must be Simon Price (and his trusty cohorts). Stay Beautiful is the longest running glam club in London and now in it's 5 year (and 5th venue - presently the 1st Friday of every month at the Purple Turtle in Camden Town) is without doubt one of the finest clubs in London. The website has photos from previous nights, a lively forum and news on any bands or guest DJs playing each month.

The West London electro night showcasing upcoming electronic bands, D.J's and multimedia - Being Boiled plays strictly old school and current pure electronica from DAF through to DFA; from Kraftwerk to Joy Division to Die Krupps. Hosted each month by Client, Being Boiled brings a dark undercurrent of dirtiness and sleaze to the otherwise pristine sounds of pure electro in the confines of the indie Notting Hill Arts Club.

'A brief History of The Wake:

The Wake began in August 2003. With artist Rachael Huntington organising the nights and producing the advertising materials containing her art work.

Dj's Mavis Cruet & DJane Darlin' Grave were joined by Gadge Europa (Nightmare) for the first few months. Due to other commitments the three were not always available and we soon started inviting other DJ's to join in the fun. In December 2003 organisation of the night was passed to Ms PVCKitten, Mavis' wife, who has continued to organise the night.

The Wake is an Old School Goth, Alternative and DeathRock Night

The Wake was held at Spiders Nightclub, Pelham Street, Nottingham. until May 2005 when, due to a slight hiccup with the electricity bill, Spiders closed for an undisclosed length of time.

After a months break The Wake has been reanimated at a new venue - The Fudge Bar - Alfreton Road, Nottingham - where we will be holding a free Reanimated launch party on 16th July'
