To me it's the new Rocky Horror. A glam stage show, turned into a movie. Wonderful songs, fun costumes and a touching story. imdb currently rate it at 7.7/10, not bad, but with your help this glam masterpiece could do better, go and vote now.

Fansite dedicated to Velvet Goldmine. Annoyingly hosted on tripod, so it's slow and has popups. But with so few other resources out there it's worth visiting for the images & background to the movie. It also has some links to other sites, but sadly most of them don't exist anymore. Still a good starting point however.
