Brett Smiley @ All Music Guide - www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:xvez97uakrjtViews (518)Added by Kitten
The All Music Guide to Brett Smiley. They describe him thus:- "Though he released just one single, made just one TV appearance, and has barely been sighted in public in over a quarter of a century, Brett Smiley can rightfully claim to rank among the true legends of glam rock". Apart from the biography the site also has clips of his 1973 album Breathlessly Brett; which had you been lucky enough to be at Club Bohemia in April you would have heard him playing from live!

Despite the controversy surrounding Jobriath in the early 70s (the first openly gay musician), he was almost forgotten until a few celebrity fans (like Morrisssey) reusrrected his star. Now with a much larger fanbase many sites are springing up to show their appreciation is this unique talent. This is one of the best, with lots of news and clips of some of Jobriath's best songs.

This entertaining site contains:

NEWS FAQ DISCOGRAPHY GALLERY LINKS REVIEWS EVENTS ARCHIVE HOME CONTACT

You can download mp3 samples of songs, buy his albums, read his reviews and even send fan mail.

One of the great features of this website is that it has a whole back story in the ARCHIVE from when the fansite began in January 2003. There used to be two fans who ran the site together - but they fell out - and it's all there in glorious detail!

This is a brilliantly creative and comic triumph of a website! The amount of thought and originality that has gone into it's creation is breathtaking - and well worth a visit or two.
Jessicka - www.jessicka.comViews (382)Added by Kitten
This site is the official Jessicka's site... but who is Jessicka?... well, the ex-lead singer of Jack off Jill and the actual lead singer of Scarling... great bands both, with a gothic sound at first hearing, with brilliant soft piano solos and of course the powerfull voice of this girl...

The site was created by this fan of Jessicka... Polly Rain, who gets all the information from Jessicka herself after writting a letter and becomming friends...

It is full of interesting content, specially some images... at the GALLERY you'll find many pictures of Jessicka with her extraordinary look, artistic and sublime pictures indeed for my taste... and some artwork...

To know more about her, an extraodinary well made and complete biography.. and if you still have any doubt, you can take a look at the FAQ, or send your question to the mail linked there, and Jessicka will asnwer promptly. The answers are very interesting, for any fans or not fans of her... You can download a stunning wallpapper and songs too...

I would define this girl as a gothic girl with a glam soul... lol

The design of the site is brilliant, one of the most beautiful sites I have never been into... simple content but complete... and coherent, well done!!

5 Years - www.5years.comViews (460)Added by Kitten
An amazingly comprehensive website dedicated to Bowie's Ziggy Stardust & The Spiders From Mars. It has everything you could ever want to know about the album (and a lot lot more). Looks like it hasn't been updated since November 2004, but with so much information on the site, it's more like a museum than a website and really doesn't need updates.
Bowie Wonderworld - www.bowiewonderworld.comViews (348)Added by Kitten
Another comprehensive and long running (started in 1997) Bowie fan site. One of the things that sets it above most other sites are the daily updates on any Bowie related news. The site also features a chat room, press archives, FAQ, lyrics, chords, art section, shop, and much much more.
BowieNet - www.davidbowie.comViews (291)Added by Kitten
Bowie's official site, and one of the best artist run sites in the world. Like so many things he's done, Bowie has been a pioneer of the artist run website, and he truely gets close to his fans on his site. With exclusive news, content and competitions there are many benefits to joining his site (a lot of the content is members only for which you have to pay an annual susbriction).

Automatic Joy - www.automaticjoy.comViews (1088)Added by Kitten
A site with a simple purpose. To collect rare live recordings of Dolls songs and cover versions. Things like their cover of Hallelujah (surely a song no band should touch since Jeff Buckley, do they manage it, download it and see for yourself). Their amazing cover of Sabbath's War Pigs, PJ Harvey's Rid Of Me, Bowie's Life On Mars and lots more, go and use up all your bandwidth...
Dresden Dolls offfical website - www.dresdendolls.comViews (470)Added by Kitten
