| Listening to: Porcelain and the Tramps - Redlight District | | As you will probably see from the front page, you can now comment on mp3s.
But there's a lot more to it than that. The mp3 page has had a complete redesign. The search is much more powerful. When listening to a song you can now see the amount of plays, downloads, the rating, who has added this song to their profile and other songs by that artist. And just overall the page has been simplified; yet there's more relevant information there. The page isn't finished, there's more we plan to add to it soon, but we felt it was worth replacing the old page now so you could get the benefits of the redesign so far, and the comment system.
And yes, it looks a bit like the layout of YouTube now, this is no accident, we plan to soon allow you to create playlist of your favourite videos on YouTube in the same way you can have mp3 playlists. So video playlists on your profiles, should be quite cool. | You must be a registered member of GLAM-OU-RAMA to post a comment, please register or use the quick login at the top of the page to login if you are already registered.Comments on this entry | | Other Posts This Month |

We've now changed the rating system from
to
ie. Instead of just saying "i like this" or "i don't like this" you can rate a song from 1 to 10. This should give a better idea of which songs people like as it gets used more.
Probably going to add "search by genre" next. But not the 10 gazillion genres you get on most sites. Just appropriate ones for GLAM-OU-RAMA and nothing too picky. So just glam, electroclash, cabaret, synthpop, goth, and things like that.
